Stoep Tasting Wine Weekend
In May 2014, the very first Stoep Tasting Wine Weekend was held in Graaff Reinet – 5 wine producers graced 5 lovely stoeps in the town. 45 tickets were sold and it was the beginning of something wonderful. Today the annual Stoep Tasting Wine Weekend is one of the premier wine tourism weekends in Africa and showcases some of the top independent wine and spirit producers from South Africa and abroad. It incorporates the towns of Graaff Reinet and Nieu Bethesda and wine tasters and buyers travel from across Southern Africa to stroll the streets of these two picturesque Karoo towns, from stoep to stoep and taste and purchase some of the finest tipples in the world. Producer participation is by invite only and ticket numbers are limited to ensure that a wonderful and relaxed country weekend experience is had by all during the last weekend of May. Great Kenton Wine Festival
Come to Kenton-on-Sea if you love the sea and a sip of wine, want to buy wine and or would love to learn a bit more about wine. *Food and wine, taste wine, dine and wine, high tea with wine and so much more.
So come down to the Barefoot capital of the Sunshine coast – Kenton-on-Sea, for a great, wine infused long weekend towards the end of March 2025. (20-22 March 2025)
Your ticket entitles you to participate, taste and purchase at the three tasting days on the Thursday, Friday & Saturday (20-22/03/25) from 14h00-17h00 with 30 of SA’s finest wineries at the designated tasting venues. (Kenton Bowls, Tennis & Deep Sea clubs)
